VM & A S.A., as member of the consortium "Deloitte Greece, FCNC Financial Advisors (former Ergani Finance), Lambadarios Law Firm, Doxiadis Associates, VM&A", effective immediately, is the Environmental and Social (E&S) Advisor, as well as the Technical Advisor of European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, after EBRD joined forces with the Hellenic Ministry of Development and Investments, to establish a new Public - Private Partnership (PPP) preparation facility cooperation account.
The objective of E&S Advisor is to identify and assess the potential risks that may make the environmental approvals impossible or an expensive and lengthy process and to appraise the social impacts of the Project,
to set out the measures required to maximise the benefits of the Project, as well as identify, predict, avoid and minimize the Environmental and Social impacts.
The objective of Technical Advisor is the technical assessment of the Project from previous studies/ reports, identification of the required stage of maturity of the additional studies needed as well as any other issues that affect the Project's planning and implementation, determining the technical and operational requirements of each Project as well as estimating the construction, operating and maintenance costs of the project, as well as any other technical.Moreover, the company will ensure that budget, cost estimates, sources of funding, adequate institutional, monitoring reporting and accountability arrangements, are proficient in implementation of compliance with the environmental and social management / action plan as well as with the local and EU institutional framework.
